Role Overview
This role focuses on driving accurate demand forecasting and optimizing replenishment models across a large-scale retail network. As a Demand Planning Specialist, you will leverage data, analytical tools, and system-driven approaches to continuously improve forecast quality and replenishment logic. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to smarter, faster planning decisions and support ongoing supply chain automation initiatives.
Job Description
• Develop and maintain demand forecasts across store and warehouse levels, ensuring high accuracy and responsiveness to business dynamics
• Analyze forecast performance, identify gaps, and continuously improve forecasting & replenishment models
• Optimize inventory flow from suppliers to stores, balancing product availability and inventory efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Merchandising, Supply Chain) to enhance planning quality and execution
• Participate in supply chain automation initiatives (e.g., auto-replenishment, parameter optimization, system-driven ordering)
• Monitor key planning metrics and proactively identify risks/opportunities in demand and supply
• Support ad-hoc analysis and strategic initiatives as assigned by the manager
Requirement
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (Majors in Supply chain, Data Analysis/Engineering, or Computer Science are preferred)
• Skills:
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proficient in Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Lookerstudio,...)
- Familiarity with Python, forecasting techniques, or statistical modeling is a strong plus
• Experience
- Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or related analytical roles
- Hands-on experience in demand forecasting, inventory planning, or replenishment is highly desirable
- Exposure to automation projects or system-driven planning is an advantage
- Project management or cross-functional collaboration experience is a plus
